Khadi Scheme

‘Khadi’ means any hand spun and hand woven on cotton, Silk , Woolen,muslin and Poly yarn or from a mixture of any two or all of such yarns.

There are 40 KVIB assisted Khadi Institution in the State of Odisha. Twenty numbers of Cotton Khadi Societies have been provided loan of Rs.36.87 lakhs & Grant of Rs. 2.62 lakhs, Ten numbers of Muslin Khadi Societies have been provided loan of Rs. 23.57 lakhs & Grant of Rs. 4.19 lakhs and Ten numbers of Silk Khadi Societies have been provided loan of Rs. 36.28 lakhs & Grant of Rs. 3.42 lakhs. Six numbers of societies have valid Khadi certificate and are in the working condition.
